My hubby brought this home on Friday. His reason? He wanted to spoil us (the family) by buying a cake he knew we would love for dessert. Even though I wish to lose weight, I could not resist this chocolatey temptation. I gave in with the knowledge that I would gain a little weight this weekend! The creamy mousse was a delight to my tongue, the cake gratifyingly light, the chocolate covering decadent.
Would you be able to resist this combination of chocolate, cake, and mousse?

Wow Colline! What a lovely cake. I would want a piece if that were my cake too. The La Rocca bakery cakes are awesome. My favorite is Bacchio – ‘kiss’ in Italian, and it is as sweet as a kiss. It has luscious layers of mousse and light chocolate cake with hazelnut and enveloped in a decadent chocolate coating. I don’t buy it often, only for special occasions due to my difficulty with avoiding devouring it. I keep all things luscious out of my house because I am trying to lose weight and it is a slow process for me. I eat well and nutritiously when cakes and chocolate are out of the house. They call to me when they are here. It is difficult to not answer!!
I would totally eat it and enjoy it as I’m a chocoholic!

It would be extremely difficult to resist such a chocolate wonder! I am a chocoholic and couldn’t resist… unless there were some type of nuts in the cake. I’m extremely allergic! But then there’s alway exercise to help burn those calories off. Like you stated in a previous post, “walking is free.” So serve it up!

It was delicious! The chocolate cake was soft and spongy; and the cholocate mousse melted on our tongues.
