One of life’s pleasures is meeting up with friends or family for a cup of tea or coffee, and plenty of conversation. When I have this opportunity, I enjoy drinking a cappuccino with cream, and sharing a slice of decadent chocolate cake.
Mixed with the conversation, it makes for a delicious outing.
What do you order when you “go out for coffee”?

So Delicious Colline , Thanks for sharing your stunning image here yummy
That cake was decadently delicious Jake
Ah, great first post to read! I live in a quiet section of ecuador, so it’s not often that i meet friends for coffee.. yesterday i gulped three large glasses of fresh grapefruit juice while my friend had lunch!
I work with a coffee company out of Guayaquil, however, so this post had instant impact!

I am sure you are a coffee connoisseur. I have always enjoyed a cappuccino – and now often enjoy the French Vanilla flavoured cuppa
actually i am not!!!! i drink it every so often, and of course when i am at the ES offices and there’s a bottomless cup for anyone who wants it! i do enjoy the cafe con leche or the cappuccios! z
This looks Grrrrreat! I like anything with whipped cream and/or chocolate, but I’m dieting. UGH! Hot or cold coffee, if you please
P.S. I cheat sometimes
Quite understandable. I am not really supposed to eat cream – but this is a treat I cannot resist
I often like to have a cookie of some sort, but it depends on what goodies are on offer and my mood.
If I have a choice, it is always chocolate cake!
What a tasty killer – I am bought.
Welcome to the club
YUMMY! I could eat and drink this right now.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Me too! Looking at the photo not only reminds me of the time I spent with some family members, but it also makes me long for another cup
Wow, so yummy. I like cheese cake.
My preference is definitely the chocolate-type cake you see in the photo
Delicious! I’d love to join you!
Pity you are on the other side of the world – literally!
What do I have with my coffee? Usually just coffee, but if I wanted to have a treat, it would probably be cake, cheesecake, carrot cake or chocolate cake – the three C’s.
Add another C to that – great conversation
One of my all time favourite things to do in life is to go out for coffee with friends. I expect if we ever meet that is what we will do. I love cake as well, though I prefer a skinny cafe latte.
You can be sure that if I ever get to Melbourne, I will meet up with you for a coffee

I used to go out for coffee a lot in SOuth AFrica…chococcino was my favourite..Too expensive here in France unless you drink that tiny little cup of black coffee ughhh
I agree – that coffee is way too strong. A good compromise though is to make it yourself at home. If I remember correctly, the hot chocolate there is pretty good.
It’s strange that we always go out for a “coffee” while in effect many order other beverages.
but i agree. the conversation is the best part of having a coffee
I used to be one of those ordering tea – but since being here I have converted to ordering coffee. There is so much choice here and I have had to try all varieties
Looks yummy. I’m not a huge coffee drinker, but I love chai or tea. And that dessert, I want one!
The dessert was definitely the highlight of the offerings
A perfect combo for breakfast!
Or even brunch!
Yes that too.
Now that is one delicious treat. I am a coffee and dessert lover. I have weakness for sweets. Lately I rediscovered pumpkin spice and peppermint flavored creamer with low fat whipped cream. In between Bliss has low fat vanilla that is just so good.
Now that sounds delicious!
that looks like the perfect way to feast to me Colline…yummy
We really savoured the rich chocolate cake. Went down well with the cappuccino
I bet it did
INDULGENCE!
