A Delicious Cuppa

One of life’s pleasures is meeting up with friends or family for a cup of tea or coffee, and plenty of conversation. When I have this opportunity, I enjoy drinking a cappuccino with cream, and sharing a slice of decadent chocolate cake.

Mixed with the conversation, it makes for a delicious outing.

What do you order when you “go out for coffee”?

  1. Ah, great first post to read! I live in a quiet section of ecuador, so it’s not often that i meet friends for coffee.. yesterday i gulped three large glasses of fresh grapefruit juice while my friend had lunch!
I work with a coffee company out of Guayaquil, however, so this post had instant impact!

  2. One of my all time favourite things to do in life is to go out for coffee with friends. I expect if we ever meet that is what we will do. I love cake as well, though I prefer a skinny cafe latte.

  3. I used to go out for coffee a lot in SOuth AFrica…chococcino was my favourite..Too expensive here in France unless you drink that tiny little cup of black coffee ughhh

    1. I agree – that coffee is way too strong. A good compromise though is to make it yourself at home. If I remember correctly, the hot chocolate there is pretty good.

  4. It’s strange that we always go out for a “coffee” while in effect many order other beverages.
but i agree. the conversation is the best part of having a coffee 🙂

    1. I used to be one of those ordering tea – but since being here I have converted to ordering coffee. There is so much choice here and I have had to try all varieties 🙂

  5. Now that is one delicious treat. I am a coffee and dessert lover. I have weakness for sweets. Lately I rediscovered pumpkin spice and peppermint flavored creamer with low fat whipped cream. In between Bliss has low fat vanilla that is just so good.
