The craziness of back-to-school in September took my mind away from sharing the pages I had created in my bullet journal for September 2020. But better late than never! Because September is the beginning of the new academic year here in Canada, I decided to focus on one of the tools elementary school children frequently use: the coloured pencil. For my quote, I decided to use a line that I loved from Anne with an E, a show that I had been watching on Netflix.

Creating the pages took a while – but I had time. I began drawing and colouring in mid-October and worked on my journal everyday until it was ready for the beginning of the month.

I love the idea I had for the mood tracker. I enjoy colouring in the pencils every day in the evening – and the page is currently looking so good.

I created a planning page for both my blogging and Instagram posts. Unfortunately not much was filled in this month.

For the first two weeks of the month, I created a dutch door. It worked really well not only because the rows of coloured pencils brightened the pages, but also because the layout suited the number of days in the first week of September.

The layout for the third and fourth week of September also look pleasing and I enjoyed filling in the spaces.

On the whole, I took pleasure in creating and filling these pages. Now I look for inspiration for October!

I really like this, the quote, blog spaces and Instagram spaces… there’s so much detail in these with space to take note of so much! What a great way to organize everything
😊🌟😊 I’ve never made one of these before.

I have been trying these pages out as a way to organise my thoughts. It is also supposed to help me with planning in advance – but I don’t get to do much of that! 😀

Your pages are so colorful and happy. I also love your new header picture. I’m not sure how long it’s been up because I’ve not been doing a lot of blogging or blog visiting lately. But I had a few minutes today, so I decide to hop around and make a couple stops here and there.

It’s a fascinating idea but I wouldn’t have the patience. I’m not very neat and it would look messy. I always enjoy seeing Cathy’s journals at Wanderessence though. I just write when I feel like it (and have time 🙂 )

When it comes to drawing up my journal Jo, I do have the patience. I find that the drawing also relaxes me.

This is so visually appealing. You have both literary and drawing talent. Me? I scribble in lined books. There are doodles and unidentifiable sketches for the thought lulls.
Thanks for the post.

Thank you so much Antionette. I have never been taught drawing – it is just something I used to do for pleasure when I was a child. Journaling has enabled me to pick up the habit again.

I buy the journal on Amazon – it is not too expensive and even though the paper is not the best quality, it is good enough for my needs.
